Spigot

In 1999, Nann founded Portland, Oregon band Spigot, whose music could be described as jalopied roots music with urban junkyard grit.

Flat Mountain Girls

Nann joined the old-time string band, The Flat Mountain Girls, from Portland, OR, in 2003, playing guitar. The band was a high-energy old-time string band based in Portland, OR. The Flats were known for tight, raw, three-part harmonies, powerful fiddling, and performances that exploded with irrepressible glee and bawdy humor. Their repertoire included arrangements of Carter Family classics, traditional songs from the Southern mountains, cowboy yodels, romping fiddle tunes, and the occasional original, combining enthusiasm with great respect for the old-time tradition.
